Happy 2009! 1/4/2009

Life here is going good! Between Christmas and New Year's we redid our living room. Future pictures will be coming soon. =0) We're grateful for the hours everyday that Bobby's dad spent and for Dawn's dad's help when he could. Our living room is now much warmer and homey-er! We put up drywall, new crown molding and base board, covered up the fireplace, took out the fish tank, painted, new couches, etc. It's very exciting having brand new living room!!!! In other news... Brooklynn is sitting up on her own now. It's so much fun to see her and Mason play together. At Brooklynn's 6 month appointment (Dec. 23rd) we learned that she isn't gaining weight. She gained 4 oz in 2 months, 14 oz in 4 months. At this appointment she weighted 14 lbs. 14 oz at 6 months! My milk just isn't enough for her, so we are now giving her formula after every feeding. She is so much happier!!! She was just a hungry girl. She is really a new person...happy all the time! And we're pretty sure she's already gained a couple pounds. Mason is loving school! He enjoys learning and being with the "boys" in his class. Mason is "all boy". At times Mommy doesn't know what to do with that. He wants to wrestle with Daddy ALL the time! And likes to pretend play, Star Wars, Transformers, etc. It's funny b/c he doesn't know much about them so he will just say "Star Wars Character". I guess we should teach him their names at least. =0) We are a very blessed family! Thank you for checking in on us. Hope you had a great Christmas and have an exciting 2009! Love, The Kennedy's
